   Wix Apps are horrible

   At wix, you can never get help. They dont call back and when they call, they hang up the phone to make it look like they attempted to call you. Very wicked people at wix customer service. They never want to work and they never help you even when they answer. Wix must do something about its customer service. America is a customer driven place and they treat us like crap. Terrible customer service. You never get help.

   Yo, Wix, C'Mon....These are awful

   I upgraded my forms so I can have more automations and they are awful. It's a crapshoot on whether or not the person actually gets the automated email, put aside the form builder itself is eat up with being buggy and glitchy. Y'all are gonna have to do better than this, you're actually charging people money for this mess.

   functionality is low

   Sometimes works sometimes not, automations cannot be set from more than one sender email... Crap to put it shortly... like this entire platform.. I am stuck with a plan and I have no other choice at the moment..

   You cannot delete or even edit answers this is aweful. You basically, you do, have to just keep the answers in the form they have for you its so dumb

    Forms versus Lightboxes

    I've been with Wix for 3 years. I truly feel like this is becoming the most expensive platform available. Those considering Wix should truly be aware of the hidden fees associated with apps. Nothing is more discouraging then being charged $120 additional dollars to add a form or to use payment forms, especially when you don't need the additional features. It would be nice if I could just pay the $1-2 per additional form and if lightboxes didn't count as a form.

    This is just a rip-off, burn out the money

    Previously, there were forms and no restrictions, now I need several forms, but alas, no more than 5, if you want to pay more, the resource is very limited and pushes for app purchases

    Are you guys dropped in the head or something?! No way should a form app cost this much, it's more than the entire wix hosting for the website! And you limit the number of fields in a form as well?! Go fund yourselves you greedy bees!

    Seriously, you can't test it???

    So I am very interested in using this but I want to build and test the forms I want to use completely first. There's nothing stopping me from just building and coding it with wix code. I just think this would be faster... oh well! Give me the ability to use it completely, enen if on an unpublished site and then you might earn my $50 a month.

    Just spent $360 for an unuseable version of this.

    Purchased the Premium business web builder plan...now I am supposed to purchase another, separate plan if I want a proper contact form on my website. $360 and I can't add more than 5 form fields. Totally shameless. Update: All the more shameless from the total non-answer as below.

Please note that you can add 5 forms with 10 fields each for free on your site and use many of the tools in the Ascend by Wix offering for free as well - find out more here: https://www.wix.com/ascend/home. For more advanced features, including adding more than 10 fields per form or more than 5 forms it is necessary to upgrade to Ascend, separately. Thanks!

    It's very bad

    Just look at the possibilities and you will knock disappointment, what is actually a minus, they turned off the old free forms and left only wix =( !So same form of retards! Sos So same there is mistake with shadow (Von forms) even if she disabled would still shadow is displayed (decision problems if enter in settings the shadows and all disable) very many mistakes and lagaet itself form of (any all!)

    Pay for forms is enough to think in another platform for websites.

    Bad practices to give the public the idea they will pay X amouth for the website, they make then their numbers and find the budget to do it. In the middle of the road the find their website is five times expensive because they have to pay for forms, pay for storage, pay for users who help, and go on... really bad practices to lie from the begining.

    As I can't see the final price, it's hard to sign up. After seeing reviews from people complaining about the price, scaried by the bill, it gets even harder to add the app. Please, be more transparent with it.

    no stars, totally sucks

    Did not even know that our current contact form was disabled and we were no longer receiving emails from it until I was in wix editing other stuff. so updated contact form to wix form and now emails from various leads are all funneled into one ongoing email thread instead of separate emails. no idea how to fix this though I imagine it's something that require more money. Hate it. Lost a lot of leads that were not forwarded to our email because of this change. Thanks a lot (NOT) for the heads up (NOT).

    Bait and Switch

    I had to update the format of our existing form, in the Editor section Wix told me to update to Wix forms - no indication of cost, limit of submissions, etc. Then I get hit with a bill because we went over a limit we didn't know we had. I never would have made the change if I knew that was going to happen. Zero transparency in their business practices. I'm looking at the pricing page and still don't understand the true potential costs since it says "starting at $10". I can't believe this is how they do business.

    bei der Automatisierung eine Vorlage bei Kontaktformulareinreichung erstellen

    Ich habe jetzt 5 MAL !!!! diese Vorlage erstellt und auch ordnungsmäßig gespeichert!! Und JEDES Mal ist es gelöscht, wenn ich neu n die Form Seite reingehe, Hab alles mir erdenkliche ausprobiert. Und eigentlich bin weder doof noch Anfänger! Im Moment gerade nur gefrustet!

    Too expensive

    Update: Horrible Piece of Crap. Has reset all of my contact forms so the email submissions are going to myself (the developer) instead of the client. I am so done with Wix. Update: all emails have a button at the bottom to, "respond now" which then takes you to the Wix dashboard and their upgraded Ascend program which is extremely expensive. My clients hate it. - This is a Developer's review Allowed Fields keep reducing, form pricing came out of nowhere, keeps going up and up! Despite turning off alerts repeatedly for my clients, I keep getting carbons of their messages. Support told me it was a glitch and they would resolve it. Well, it keeps happening. Privacy infringement and data breaches. Horrible form. It's like paying for someone to do you an injustice.

    App with undesirable side effects

    Just wanted simple form to enable customers to get in contact. As per original Wix forms (2 years ago) 1. Premium accounts now include "Ascend" and it cannot be removed. The new form introduces Ascend branding and interface options inside regular email exchanges. I don't like this and cannot disable it. 2. The new form interacts with Ascend and with data stored in the wix account which causes some peculiar effects. Settings in the form email directly to contact specified. Client replies to subsequent responses get sent to the site admin based on "notification" settings buried inside the wix dashboard and invisible from the web page design tools. If you're lucky a copy will be sent to the site contact as well, if your site settings elsewhere dictate they may not see the client response at all. Just finished 2 hour call with wix support so these buried settings now behave more sensibly even though they are completely hidden from the web page design tools. Later this week I'll investigate simpler forms in the apps that allow me to avoid the Ascend branding and get the alternative "reply" graphics out of the client communication. The graphics seem to start new browser window and dive back into Ascend software. I'm sure some people will value the extra functionality on offer. If you want simple transparent email form don't use this. It is not possible to disable Ascend despite an exciting button on the dashboard that says click to disable !!!

    Decepcionada que una función tan básica sea de pago

    Acabo de crearme la página web y lo primero que me encuentro es que un simple formulario de contacto de mis clientes conmigo tengo que pagar 10 euros porque según WIX no es suficiente los 181 euros que he pagado para un año... Empezamos muy mal y decepcionándome estoy pensando en darme de baja... porque ya veo que esto va lleno de micropagos abusadores...

    Wix Forms is misleading

    When I just purchased my WIX 3 year premium plan...this was ADvertising for Forms was misleading, even with a person on the phone...this addition of forms takes you to the marketing Asend program. $10-$49 per month if you need any real forms...I was even on the phone with a representative and they never mentioned the extra cost...PLUS all the complaints were not in English...OTHERWISE the site is interesting and has a lot of easy to use features...

    Wix is starting to get greedy...I think.

    Works fine, but Wix Forms upgrade used to be around $50 p/year. Now it is around $120! That is non-sense. I understand the "extra features" but... did I ask for those extra features? I will most likely not even use those "extra features". So I am stuck paying double. Not good Wix, not good. If I had time to learn a new platform, I would have seriously consider moving to another one. But in the mean time I am stuck in this money hungry site. :/ Please change it back Wix. Thank you

    This should be included in the Premium fee

    I'm just developing my first Wix site and really struggling to get a simple contact form to work because I need to add a couple of extra fields. I have spent an hour trying to find out how to contact Wix for support but if there is a way its well hidden behind self help which isn't helping. I spent half a day reading articles and watching YouTube videos that don't help. Now I find that Wix charges hidden extras even after I have bought a premium package. Not happy, I wish I had gone with another provider.

    É um ERRO esse formulário, visto de que: Para cada envio do Formulários Wix, você recebe um email e uma notificação no painel do seu site. O e-mail inclui um endereço de e-mail de resposta que mostra submissiontextcode@crm.wix.com em vez do e-mail do destinatário. O formulário é grátis para quem é Premium no entanto são os detetores de nosso e-mails. Preferia o antigo, no-reply@parastorage.com ao qual éramos os verdadeiros proprietários dos nossos próprios e-mails. Pois, o Outlook.com é um serviço gratuito de e-mail pessoal da Microsoft. Isso está completamente ERRADO, já falei com mais de 10 atendentes e até agora nada de solução. Precisam REVER isso. Pois isso reflete no que diz respeito a PRIVACIDADE de e-mails. Isso judicialmente é claro que estão infringindo a PRIVACIDADE a partir do momento que o PLANO é PREMIUM. Não desejo continuar com essa forma de formulário, caso nada seja feito vou procurar meus direitos.

    Really really disappointing

    I've spent a few months building my site on Six and really loving the platform. It's insane that you then have to pay to have more forms!!!! I already pay for a Premium Subscription! Why should I pay more for something that is free on other platforms? This is really disappointing. I can't even pay a small amounts for just the Wix Forms App, I have to get an Ascend Plan which is massively overpriced when I don't need all the other stuff. I think I'll go back to Weebly. This is pushing back my website launch date. Thanks guys.

    I already have a premium plan with Wix and in the middle of creating a new one (additional) in which I require to use Forms, so I am second guessing the choice of Wix after reading these reviews. Most of them seem like reasonable concerns. Just giving you the heads-up that you can lose business before you even get it!

    Wix is slipping

    As other reviewers have said, after paying $150 for "premium", I don't want to be nickled and dimed to death every time that I want to do something basic. Wix's robotic response to the reviews on this page makes me wonder if a human is even reading them. This has been the best tool for website building in the past but they won't continue to be if greed and poor customer service continues. (And I'll be interested in seeing if this review receives the same pat response.)

    Paying for basic tools???

    I don't think so... we were thinking to migrate from WP to Wix, but after a serious research in to the "basics" we have decided to stay at WP... Having 2 or 3 extra fields it´s almost obligatory in order to get best feedback from clients, so this "upgrade" doesn't make any sense (most because the old version was free), very disappointing

    Nickel and Dime

    I started creating forms before this "new and improved" form builder. I could create as many fields as I wanted. Now, you have a VERY limited number of fields, and have to upgrade and pay for additional fields and features in order to track a database. Isn't this why we upgrade to a premium site in the first place? To get the premium wix features? I understand paying for third party apps and features, but NOT wix apps and features. I'm pretty upset with the lack of features now available on the premium versions of wix.

    Nickle and Dime Format?

    Have hosted our radio station's site here for quite some time. We have enjoyed the various options available. But now things are chaning to a "pay to win" model and we are no longer comfortable with that. Too many hosting companies out there to choose from. May consider moving our operations elsewhere. Sad as we enjoyed it here, but we don't agree with the "money first.........customer second" train of thought. Even our listeners have commented on that issue.

    fields are limited

    I have three different sites with 3 different premium plans, when I created my first plan I was able to add a lot of fields in wix forms, but when I created my second and third site the fields for wix forms are limited. why? I don't know, I been trying to call them to get an answer but nothing happened.

    TOO MUCH EXPENSIVE!!!

    Why you changed the APP price? It started with a cost of US$4/month and now it will cost US$10 per month!!! Not worth it... I developed several websites using your platform but now I'm really thinking about use another one. I'm really disappointed with your unilateral way to make decisions.

    very disappointed

    Limiting the use of basic forms to 100 per month is a step in the wrong direction. Whoever came up with this idea at your company should be rethinking strategically in the long term, this current decision is very short sighted and Wix will start losing its loyal customers.

    The original form builder was better

    Now we cannot reply to the email submissions we are forced to use the wix dashboard which is not what we want. Give us the basic contact form back, I have over 20 wix websites for clients and will be switching them to wordpress because of reasons like this.

    Disappointed with Wix Forms

    Wix, you must be getting tired of copy and pasting the same reply! Perhaps you should be listening and taking action to better service your customers. I'm falling off the fence and looking at other programs. Sad, I just spent the last year building a 100+ page website, heavily dependent of forms and I'm ready to run. Was using Magic Form Builder because I realized from day one that your wix forms were not going to be sufficient. And now, my renewal is not due for 3 months and all of my forms have magically been removed. Thanks Wix, I'm very disappointed.

    Terrible

    The new Wix forms generate messy emails through the Contact us form. They generate SPAM on the bottom of the emails, contain messy Ascend Logos and generally look unprofessional upon receipt of the enquiry from the customer. Unfortunately there is no way to go back to the old, clean and simple version. Very frustrating!

    WIX is becoming worse than play to win games.

    I'm a designer with very limited coding ability so I set clients up on Wix. Giving a client a content management system is the better way to go anyways. That said, part of my opening discussion is about the ongoing cost of utilizing Wix. Lately it has often been a complete embarrassment when I have to gradually increase their monthly cost due to a number of features requiring a premium subscription. These are simple features that should be completely free. If the development of these features are that costly to the company (my experience with developers tells me they are not) then just up your monthly fee instead of trying to slyly nickel-and-dime us. My customers are typically small companies and nonprofits. These small fees are noticed. Stop screwing us, Wix. If we can't trust you, we'll move on to something else. I'm already looking for an alternative.

    Tedious and inefficient - no longer using.

    Wix Forms do not allow me to set a standard style for all entry fields the way I can set a standard style for headers and buttons. This means that for all 20+ entry fields in my form, I must individually and manually input color, border, background, text, etc for each of them, in each of the states (default, hover, error, etc). How is it they charge 10USD/month just for the base level of this feature? I'll try using Google Forms or 123Builder instead. Also... Isn't it a bit suspect that every review here shows 1 star, and yet the overall rating as of April 2019 is a 3-star average? Hm.

    Wow, I've fully recommended the WIX platform over the years but the fact that they are now charging a steep price for Contact form features and submissions has left a sour taste to be honest. So is the plan to discontinue the old style contact forms that are currently in use on my site?
