Not saving translations

I paid for automatic translations, but after translating my site it is full of errors and after editing those errors it doesn't save my work. Total waste of money and time. Edit: the translation didn't show at first, but after few minutes it showed both in the editor and the app

Nice, simple, but limited

I would love this app, if would give us a way to add different tables by language. I use TableMaster for my site, and since it connects to google sheet, it is okay that it is not translated to another language. But I cannot connect the tables on the "other" language site to a set of other tables. It is imprtant to keep everything in google sheets, because the content is changed by a third person regularly.

Crooked SEO

It doesn't have the most important things, meta tags and meta descriptions of online store products. You can change the language of the description and title of the products, but there is no way to edit SEO.

No translation for products Titles

No translation for products Titles. and it is also not possible to change the design of the language change menu. It is different from the design of the currency change (which is also not changeable) and from the design of the user account. In fact, we have three different menus, which are completely different in style in the PC version and in the mobile version of the site.

Unable to support Lightbox feature

When switching between languages the pop-up does not engage. No workaround provided/available.

You cant change main language

You cant change main language. Like rly? It is that simple yet you cant do it

It's ok but it's very limited to essential options!

It needs some work to be a very functional app, it doesn't have a horizontal scroll in horizontal mode and on breakpoints it's a problem because you need to make a duplicate and hide the other one. And many other issues that can make this app one of the best of Wix's apps

אפליקציה זאת מבית ויקס מאפשרת לי שבאתר שלי היו כמה שפות שנתמכות. חשוב לדעת: קשה לעבוד הם כמה שפות במגביל.

Esperanto date/time etc format missing

I am working on a site for an Esperanto organization and Esperanto is only partly supported. It just lists standard American date/time format, English months, etc. I am happy to provide correct translations to someone. Also the flag is just a generic globe, not the Esperanto flag. I am happy to help out to fix these issues.

not what i expected

it says norwegian language but when you install it says there´s no norwegian language.... now i have to add another app ,after paying ...

Pratique...mais très long

Ce serait vraiment super si il était possible de traduire plusieurs fiches produit d'un seul coup dans la boutique Wix. Il faut faire chaque fiche et chaque section individuellement, c'est terriblement long.

it's basic but it works, if you do all the hard work

The mistake with this app is to think that it will translate everything automatically. It won't. But if you take the time to export your content into a (highly unfriendly) excel spreadsheet, and carefully work through every cell in the D column, manually translating and adding the revised text back into the corresponding cell in the E column, then reimporting the revised spreadsheet back into your site, it works very well. Of course it still won't translate external content or apps, but hey, it's free.

Not translating services

How is it possible that we cannot translate the services we offer, and only the products? In my case I don´t sell goods, I provide online services, now I have a website in English and in Spanish BUT with the service list in only in one language... I hope Wix solves this asap.

It's good but only for text translations

All in all it's actually not even that bad, as long as you only translate texts. Unfortunately the app didn't translate my contact form properly and changed my form language to Italian. I couldn't reverse the changes and received my forms in Italian instead of my main language. It was also pretty messy to adjust all forms settings in four languages. Unfortunately I had to uninstall it because I couldn't save my form and start from scratch. I would recommend to the team to harmonise the app with other WIX integrations like forms and other, so they work together harmoniously. I'd totally come back if this issue got resolved.

Multilingual app

it is ok. but there are some key logistical items that need to be added so that you don't have to reload the entire app if you need to make a change.

Works well but beware

I read many bad reviews on this app so, I duplicated my site and gave it a try. It worked really well. I made a backup of my site, because I read that this app is hard to uninstall. Then I translated. Good translation quality. I thought I was done but this is where the trouble started. Wix big mistake is that it links the layout between the two languages: Wix was messing up with the boxes size in one language and if I tried to correct it, it would mess my layout in the other language. I finally understood that if I had the same numbers of LINES of text in both languages, it would work. But that's only for the screen version. Add to it the same issue in mobile and you have to try to juggle with 4 interdependent layouts, really messy. I can't even imagine if you try 3 languages.

It's Okay

Translates pretty well over all, but you do need to check it & update some of the words. It also changed my formatting in some instances so I'm deleting it because I had my site set up perfect and thought this would be my finishing touch - until it changed how some things are set up on my site. Also what I'm seeing in the editing tab is not what's showing up on my actual website. I've never had this issue before and the only difference is me adding this app. So I'm deleting it. Great idea, but the way it operates within the site needs some kinks worked out.

Somewhat disappointed

Google translate works well from browser. What I need is to choose what I translate manually and what I translate automatically. I can't find anywhere a choice, it translates everything and then I have to go over everything, while most of the content I don't want to translate! (E.G store products, which get a terribly funny name, I want to original name to stay). Also, when batch translating, why can't I see ALL products in one list, instead of waiting for the next product to show? Thanks and I hope you change this.

Guter Grundansatz

Leider sind bei den Apps oft nicht alles Übersetzbar und auch oft nicht genügend Platz um gleich Zweisprachig zu schreiben wie De/ eng. Hoffe dies wird bald Überarbeitet zum Teil ist es für Englische Kunden schwer Sachen zu Buchen.

Works ok but big feature missing! UPDATED

From my testing so far, it seems to work quite well translating my site from English to Portuguese, but there's a HUGE feature missing... the ability to change the videos displayed in a Wix Video grid based on the language of the site. Not being able to display English videos on my English site and Portuguese videos on my Portuguese site using the Multilingual tool is ridiculous to be honest. Please fix this ASAP! UPDATE: Since Wix Video is complete junk when it comes to multi-language sites, I solved the problem by inserting my videos into Repeaters instead. Repeaters are a LOT easier to use than Wix's video library and channels interface! The #1 problem with WIX at this time is Lightboxes. Lightboxes NEED act as a separate page when hitting the back button on a mobile (and desktop) browser, otherwise they're next to useless for mobile! Back button should = closed Lightbox, rather than closing the Lightbox AND jumping back to the previous page, or ever worse, previous website!

I cannot delete the application.

In fact, it is an application that works very well. I previously removed this application from my web page. Because the things I just added didn't appear in the languages to be translated For example, when I made a change on my home page, that change was not visible in other languages. So I wanted to complete my web page design and try again. But now all the translations are the same as when I first uploaded them. The pages of the languages to be translated with the main language page are completely different. I want to uninstall and reinstall. But I can not. Please help me uninstall the application. I have to install it again.

GooD app but.....

it works really well on the desktop websites but the mobile website this app gives you a headache. how? when I put text in one language and made it fit and look nice when I go to the second language it looks like a disaster when I try to fix it the first language will be a disaster so trying to figure this out will be a headache. hope that this problem will be fixed

This needs some changes in certain objects

It translates everything great, but the Paid Plans menus and anything similar to it are not translatable. Wish you could fix that in a short time)

Multilingual

Main Language is ENG. I want to add Chinese (China) and Chinese (HKSAR), but only allow add Chinese language one time, no more Chinese language available to choose for HKSAR! Please advise. Thank you!

How to make my slovenian site for main page and make english second? Thanks

It doesn't let you add multiple contries with the same language (I'll add it when you fix problem)

It only lets you change the language, and doesn't let me add other cerrences. like for example you cant have United States, and United Kingdom under the same language, although you could use it for something like Spanish (Espanol), and English. I am hoping you will fix this. (note that I used Google Translate, and am excited, because I heard you guys are adding an auto Translator in Wix.)

Arabic Language

I used this app on one of my sites and it works like a charm, the only issue is that you cannot save the text alignment to a specific language such as Arabic which has a right to left direction & alignment unlike English. So when you change the direction and alignment of the Arabic text it also does the same to the English version which is really annoying.
