Thank you for subscribing to out app. Just like any other Wix app, you can cancel is from the Wix dashboard in Settings->Manage Plan. You must be the account admin to do that (These are Wix requirements)

How do the service tiers offered here compare to the actual mailchimp packages?

You can use any of our plans with any of the Mailchimp plans. The free plan in our app allows you to evaluate the app and build a bit of a customer base with 100 new contacts and 40 new orders and carts. After which you can upgrade to the Basic plan is you do not need any e-commerce reporting, or the Advanced plan if you use e-commerce. Reach out to our support if you have any questions or need help

Mailchimp too expensive.
The Wix add-on app is okay, but Mailchimp itself is very expensive now. I no longer use it to capture my email list.

This app is amazing!
I love how my contacts are automagically imported into Mailchimp along with the sales and dates. It works amazingly well! Tech support is great, too! Always prompt, easy to understand and best of all, things are fixed right away. All the best!

Waste of time
Don't bother if your a licensed manufacture of hemp. We have been customers with them since 2019 and then today because of some algorithm they flagged our account and canceled us for selling hemp derived CBD. What a joke. Its 2023! They also changed pricing and features again so you have to upgrade to get anything good. Don't waste your time!

Thanks for the feedback. If you are seeing a low conversion rate, you may want to offer your visitors a better incentive to sign up for your newsletter. As popups become more popular, and can be annoying, it's up to you, the site owner to make it more attractive for your customers to sign up, rather than close it. The most common way is to offer a discount voucher, or free shipping. We're happy to help with more suggestions to improve your popup and conversion rates.

Hi, The best place to get questions answered is by reaching our support at wix@presto-changeo.com In Step 2 of the app you can select the Mailchimp Status for contacts, you can select "Pending (double-opt in)" and then any new contact sent to Mailchimp will get the double opt-in email.

It is also integrated with Wix Bookings, Events, Memberships and Payment Plans. The app comes with a free plan that is limited to 100 new Contacts, 40 new orders and 40 carts, which allows new shops to grow their customer base on a free plan before upgrading to a paid one.

Nice, but could be more transparency.
I use the app for myself and clients and the function works, but sometimes it takes too long time to connect the contacts to Mailchimp. I would love that the setting about the pay plans and upgrades could be more TRANSPARENT and acessible, because I couldn't found that in the app, so how could I cancel the plan when I don't need to use it? Should get better in this way. About the rest, it's a nice app.

Thank you for your feedback. Contacts are generally sent to Mailchimp as soon as Wix notifies our app, which can sometimes take a couple of minutes. We also prioritize pain plans over free plans. There is a count of the free plan statistics, with an upgrade button at the button of our app, though it seems we need to make it more prominent, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Plans can only be cancelled through the Wix dashboard, as described here https://support.wix.com/en/article/canceling-an-app-subscription

Easier than I expected
Very pleased so far. Initially, I thought I was missing something because there was no real setup necessary but after a quick chat with the support team (who responded promptly), I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the integration is pretty seamless. Easier than I expected!

Easy to use, superb customer service!
Being familiar with using Mailchimp for my dayjob, I wanted to use it for my website. This app makes it a child's play! Just waiting for notifications to be added in the near future and it will be perfect. Customer service is sublime! I have not known many who reply to e-mails with a solution within hours. Not an automated generic response but a real conversation. Refreshing! Full marks on my books!

Free version more trouble than it's worth.
The language around this app isn't clear at all. The free version does not allow you to move your wix subscribers over to mailchimp, though all the options seem to be there - they just don't do anything. None of the descriptions or options are worded clearly. Instead, in trying to test a single sign up, it moved over ALL my contacts and autosubscribed them, blowing through the free allowance in a minute and royalling screwing my entire mailing list. I'm sure the paid version is great, but either way the entire settings page needs to be rewritten and redesigned.

This is done to allow you to evaluate the app and allow you to start an email marketing campaign that can increase your conversions. Does not work.
Will ask you to connect and give your credentials then not deliver service. That is theft. Then when submitting a help ticket, it would not let me past the captcha to submit the request. Busy business owner is done with this.

I found the app on Wix. I installed it, connected my own subscription form, tested it from the website. Checked on Mailchimp. It works like a charm. doesn't work
such a pain to sync WIX and MAILCHIMP. I have tried all app, this included, but absolutely no link between app and mail chimp. When I try to access support page I got an error. No trial.

You are correct. The Free option offers the ability to evaluate the app, and use if for small / starting businesses. Our app offer the most complete Contact sync, including custom embedded forms, any additional contact fields you use in Wix, and includes last activity, and basic purchase information, as well as allow to sync very large lists. We believe these options and services are worth the low monthly fee of a basic plan, as they save you a lot of manual work. Excellent!
Update - March 2023 Once again, I'm so happy with this app and especially with the friendly and responsive support! It's a relief to know I can easily contact them and get a speedy response, a follow up, AND a solution to my question or problem. ******* So happy that there is now an app that integrates MailChimp with Wix. Support is beyond prompt, helpful, and personable! Thanks for working so hard on making this app for us.

Solid support
I found a bug that tech support responded to and the developers corrected within 12 hours. Lightning fast. I haven't explored all the features yet but so far so good!
