Not entirely user friendly. Needs email notifications of pending comments.

Is there any way I can get pending comments sent to my account's email address ? Having to contantly use Wix is to say the least very annoying.

The best app I have found so far! I wish it had a dedicated dashboard but it is handy and wonderful!

Can't leave the administrator answers

I get the issue and the ID for not having sufficient permissions, although I am set up as a co-owner

Works well enough, but why doesn't it notify me of comments?

The comment app was easy to install and I like being able to reply to the comments straight from the dashboard. But why doesn't it notify me when someone leaves a new comment? This seems like an absolute necessity and I'm a bit annoyed that I have only just found out I've got a bunch of comments waiting for replies.

Useful, but limited in functionality and lacking in documentation

The app provides basic functionality for adding comments to a blog. I brought about 450 comments over from a WordPress site, planning to reenter the comments using the app's UI. The reCaptcha made that unrealistic. What is lacking: - The ability for commentors to subscribe or follow threads or posts they are interested in or have contributed to. - An option to visually display the full tree of replies rather than putting all replies in a thread into one list where you have to figure out who is replying to what by following links. - The ability to import comments from Json or even csv, or at least documentation of how the app uses the Comments API/SDK so you can roll your own import.

Almost perfect

Easy to use, comments are hooked up correctly to the page (at least from what I checked), overall the app works great. However, some customization is missing: - option to edit color of all remaining texts - option to edit color of the context button (triple dots) on the right side of the comment I think these simple changes would add a lot to the quality of this widget.

The functions don't quite work right

Really really need an email notification when a user comments, especially as my client wants everything to be moderated a approved before it goes live. Also isn't linked to the triggers so I can't manually set it up. If you allow guests to comment, although you can require them to input an email, the website admin can't see the email that they put in

The color design is lack of many properties

The three dots (more actions) icon , (no comments ) text , and (replying to....) text, elements don't have option to change color and they don't change when main theme changes

A lot of nothing good

Locks up, freezes, and takes a big footprint of your edit site with example comments. Overall just a PITA.

Good but needs a lot of improvement

In order of priority: 1) They need to be integratable with Ratings Displays. (Like Wix Reviews can be) 2) They need to have a CMS collection, as atm comments are all only shown in 1 simple page under apps. Accumulated comments are difficult to manage currently.

Not usable in shop for products

Comments are not usable for shop products. So for my E-Commerce this app is useless. Hopefully this feature will be integrated soon. Today it is standard in all online-shops that clients can comment products.

Works well, building a pseudo chat with it, for good thread based discussions with members, Out of Box is OK, but a bit of Velo Code adjustment is good.

Any update about notifications?

Please please we need to be notified for all the comments

Please add a notification for all comments that we receive on all pages. It's hard for us to engage with customers if there are none. Replies notifications to customers and from us too.

Needs to be able to add the reviews to CMS collection

Its great, but it should be possible to ad the ratings to the cms collection, so users can filter by pages with a specific rating

Wix Comment on Dynamic pages - how to?

Hi Wix Team, I have added Wix Comment to my site hence I need the comment box to work on Dynamic pages. I have seen n your AI support a short guide on how to implement this feature on a dynamic page and I see several answers in the 68 reviews below where Wix Support Team tells that you can add Wix Comments to a Dynamic page. Would it be possible for the Wix Team to add a guide "how to make is work on Dynamic pages" The feature is really a must for my site and I do hope you will find time to answer as soon as possible. Thanks a lot Karsten

Can we set for approval for those low stars' comments before they can be displayed on the site?

Great potential! REALLY need the option to get notified of new comments though. By email or preferably text. Also would be great if I could control the font and color of the text labels.

Frustrating

I don't get notified of comments, and when I reply they don't get notified. Some posts don't show comments even though they are there.

Reviews do not populate on site

I've tried reaching out to wix; incredibly hard to find an actual person to help.

Capable of development

Had hope to bring in a comment section into a lesson of the online program where students can directly leave questions. But unfortunately there is no option for it – maybe something for the future.

Good but no notifications

Overall, I like the app and the comment sections look good. However, I'd love to see a notification feature that notifies users whose uploaded content (e.g. a dynamic page with comments on it) has been commented on. You should also be notified if someone replied to your own comments. If these functions were implemented, it'd be a 5 stars app for me!

No push or other notifications?

Comments is not very engaging. i cant find any settings that allows comments to come to you phone by push settings. I have to manually check. This should be essential.
