About this App
The Product Auction application introduces an auction feature for your "Stores", which enables product bidding for the admin who wants to auction. It helps you track and manage all the live bids on the store. With the help of this application, you can easily start an auction in the store. It provides many features and benefits when you use it in your store. A few simple steps are required to auction a product with a user-friendly interface. Below are a few important features of the application. * A special feature including the popcorn Bidding for the auction products. * The auctions of any product can be created and managed by a store owner. * Configure the email so that they can notify their users about auctions. * The Admin can restart the auctions that are unsuccessful. * Admin can also create an auction of different products at once using the batch option. Manually start and end the auction. * The time will be displayed on the product for the auction when the admin gets it started. * Only registered users can bid on the auction. * When an auction ends admin will decide the winner of the product auction.

Not the best
App is not the most user friendly. There's not a good dashboard or integration to see or make auctions directly - you have to go into WIX, make a new product, add your one item, then go to the Webkul, add the auction, and set your start/reserve price. The auctions themselves work, just very clunky. It's slow to load, often showing the product before refreshing to show the auction, and there's no way for bidders to see what they've bid on. Also, there's no way to show if the reserve is met - I had quite a few bidders unhappy with this. Overall, you get what you pay for. It's a cheap auction service, does its job but looks and feels cheap.

We are using the default Wix layout as much as possible to make the app easy to use and familiar. Users can sync their Wix products and apply auctions to the synced products based on their subscribed plan. This is a simple process. After that, the products appear on the storefront, where bidders can place bids. Bidders can also view all their bids in the My Bids section on the storefront.

Too Many Flaws
I wanted to like this app as it would be a great addition to my wix store. Maybe if they can work out the kinks this will be better in the future. First problem, you cannot enable decimal point bidding (10.00 vs 10) and have a minimum bid increment at the same time, even though both options are offered at setup. What this looks like to customers is Current bid $100.00, minimum bid $20.00, but if they enter $120.00 instead of 120 the bid does not go through. The pop up letting them know they used a decimal point and bid did not go through is at the top of the screen and you would have to scroll up to see it. So basically people think they have bid when they have not. There was a glitch midway through my auction that allowed a buy now option at the reserve price, lost money on this, Tech support is not helpful and is overseas so do not expect a response until the next day if you are on EST

Thank you for the suggestion. We have added a setting in the app where you can choose whether to allow decimal values or not. There is currently no issue with the Buy Now button. You can try the app again and adjust the settings based on your needs.

Unprofessional Auction
I wouldn't recommend this Auction App. It loads twice. First it shows the product with the Buy Now button and then it loads again to the Auction Page. I contacted Webkul and they say it cannot be fixed, its a Wix issue. Not Professional and the Design looks cheap.

Hi, We have already informed you through our support ticket that since the application is dependent on the platform first the Wix page loads then our script will run, so generally it loads too fast but it might be possible sometimes it takes time. However, we are always trying to optimize the application.

Very Powerful Application

Needs more work
A shame. A good idea, but not friendly to use. The biggest issue i have with this, is the fact that there is no app for us, the sellers, to connect to and update or use directly for our products to update, add or remove. Also, the user is taken outside of wix, which again, is not friendly.

Hi, Thanks for your feedback, but we never committed the app has functionality for sellers to apply an auction. It's for store owners to apply an auction on the store products. Worst Experience Ever
Tech was useless and always talked over us. Constant bugs and issues on the auctions every week. Did not have many necessary features to run an auction. Told us they were "working on it" but issues never got resolved. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.
