It's not working with WIX
It's not integrating with WIX. Support is also answered only once giving me to read generic articles which were not relevant. I installed another app, which works just fine
Hi Sasha, We’re sorry to hear about your experience - it's certainly not what we want to offer. Our team has already reached out to provide clarifications regarding the integration with Wix. We strive to ensure a smooth experience for all users, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our services. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to assist. Best regards, Andrzej Gelato Support Team

What Happened?
Gelato Used to Be Good, but then they gained enough subscribers to cease control over the market and have since decided to push some of their subscription fees through the roof, a tactical move, and one that certainly didn't go unnoticed by users who felt they were actually getting a deal. oh well will have to find an alternative, a real shame...but such are the ways of human nature I guess, all the best Gelato
Hello, We understand your concerns about the subscription pricing changes. The adjustment was part of a complete model update, which also introduced increased product discounts and additional benefits aimed at providing more value to our users. We appreciate your time with Gelato and would love for you to try the new structure to see how it could work for your business. If you have any questions or would like more details, feel free to reach out to us at apifeedback@gelato.com. Best regards, Andrzej Gelato Support Team

poorly this year
I wanted to share my experience here. This company was fantastic last year, but this year, it's been disappointing. One issue is when I ordered three hoodies, they charged separate shipping fees because they came from different places without prior notice, only hitting me with the charges later. Second, the customer support seems nonexistent - all automated responses, no human interaction. Lastly, the shipping costs for multiple items are exorbitant. I hope this company improves its transparency on shipping fees. Considering trying out new printing companies; I'm genuinely dissatisfied with this one
Hi there, We are sorry to hear about the experience you've had with your order. This is definitely not the service we want to provide, as, while it can be a complicated topic, our goal is to make shipping as straight forward as possible. We appreciate this feedback, as it allows us the chance to investigate, learn and improve. We've reached out directly via email to continue the conversation and better understand how we can support you moving forward. Shipping discounts are also part of our Gelato+ subscriptions - this can be a great way to lower the cost of shipping or increase profits. More information on this can be found at: https://www.gelato.com/plus Should you have any questions around this please don't hesitate to reach out. Once again, thank you for your feedback and for helping us to improve. Best regards, Kyle Customer Service Manager

No way to make it profitable
I'm selling wall art, small to medium sizes, printing on "premium" paper, wood frames... normal stuff. I've received 2 orders, one of 60€ (2 ilustrations), out of wich I made a profit of 10€ after paying the production, shipment and taxes. The other one was a 30€ order, my profit paying gelato production of the 1 single product costs' equals to 3€. This on one side, on the other side I got tired of the constant failures the app has with my wix store. The customer service is great, so willing to help, but the technical issues with the wix integration make the exhausting the process. So unless you're targeting to a really REALLY high purcharsing customers, I can't recomend this app, I won't make money with Gelato prices. More like losing money having if adding fixed costs.
Hi, Thank you for your feedback - we appreciate it as it helps us to build a better service for you and all our customers. We do have points that you've mentioned on our roadmap of improvements to come, including automating the combination of posters and frames in the product creation process, which I hope you will be happy to use once released. Regarding the pricing, this is one area where our local production helps out. In the case of these two particular orders, these were almost the "worst case" scenarios as they were shipped from our backup locations, within the same region. The vast majority of orders should be produced locally, which will give greater margin on your sales, more in line with the earlier orders you experienced. Once again, thank you for your feedback and for helping us to improve. Best regards, Kyle Customer Service Manager

Integrated Vs Fulfillment Services
Although Gelato has a great platform to start a POD store. Unfortunately, they're not a fulfillment service with Wix Stores. Both Wix and Gelato advertise they can integrate with each other, however Wix does not support them as a fulfillment service which means your orders will not be fulfilled unless you manually go into your gelato store and re-purchase every order you receive from your Wix stores manually, which is not ideal when you want to be semi-automated business. Also, it's not ideal when you have to constantly switch back and forth from Wix to gelato to cross over orders it just gets messy and time consuming.
Hi Deanna, We're truly sorry for the confusion, and the incorrect information received from outside Gelato - we're doing everything we can to make this clearer to all, as we definitely take care of fulfillment too. Now that all your products are connected, any orders will be automatically transferred and fulfilled through our worldwide network of printers. We truly hope you'll give us another chance so you can see how simple it can be! Best regards, Kyle Customer Service Manager
