The PDF of functionality is not accurate
Whether using this app in the member area or as a stand alone member login only app, there is no way I've found to set file permissions. As admin/owner of the site, I should be able to control all files added and give access (view only, edit, delete, share) to whomever I choose. As a regular member, I should be able to establish access to the files I upload (admin/owner should automatically have full access to all files).

Don't use this app, always have a bug, and nobody can help you to solve
Every day have some issues that suport cant give you any solution to use this app. So if you are thinking to download and use it, run! Get another app, because this one, works for 1, 2 days and after that have a gitch that nobody gives you a solution.

Hard to use - not clear to link to admin and upload files - followed steps and the login associated with my wix account doesn't let you login.... unable to manage from wix main editor site. Not helpful at all.

Doesn't work
As soon as i sign into a member account, there is no option to upload. I needed this for staff to share files with community, but not even site admins can do anything with it. (badge perms worked everywhere else) after a solid few hours of not being able to use it, i gave up. Try something else, this does not work.

To manage upload permissions for members > go to the settings of the app (on the Editor) > settings tab > under 'who can upload files' - select 'All Members' or create new roles and assign specific members so they could upload files. Then go to your live site > log in with an account of a member with permissions to upload files to the library. HORRIBLE
Hasta Noviembre 2020 funcionaba relativamente bien. Luego de esta fecha dejó de funcionar por completo. No me permitió subir los nuevos archivos ni crear nuevas carpetas. pero lo peor es que se perdieron TODOS los archivos que había podido cargar. Perdida de tiempo, ya que ahora no sirve el uso de WIX y además tendré que volver a levantar todo el trabajo. Perjuicio total!

Not worth it
All I've been looking for was a way to make a button download button for an image, sounds simple right? It's not! The only damn thing there is, only allows documents like wtf. And this app looks so horrible I have made a thumbnail on a page, with the buttons in the right dimensions underneath.

Yet Another Waste of Time from Wix
Simply put, there are no thumbs for images and videos. I built out this share for the content producers in my gaming community of over 2000. I literally asked two Wix programmers to create a download button on the Shared Wix Gallery, so that members of communities like mine could "really" share. These idiots pushed me to this share. How can you download images and videos without thumbs. For example, I have several logos with a variety of glow colors to suit different placements and color schemes. I guess I'm just supposed to title the images. But when there are subtle differences among several yellow glows, for example, what then??? I swear, these developers have blinders on and zero respect for needs. Luckily, the gaming industry is the fastest growing industry in the world. Someone who can at least nail the basic functionality needs is bound to come along. I cannot wait. Wix's complete lack of interest will be its downfall.

Sou advogada e trabalhei com Direito do Consumidor, a Wix utiliza práticas rechaçadas pelo STF, te incita a pagar planos mais caros com a ilusão que você vai ter facilidades, mas na realidade o que ela dá são mais amostras de planos pagos. É preciso buscar tutoriais externos porque a ajuda é pura encheção de linguiça, nunca te dão a resposta, ficam te enviando eternamente para outros links, isso é proposital, te levam à exaustão, até você acreditar que não sabe, aí vc contrata um SEO e dá mai dinheiro. Eles usam a mesma técnica de persuasão dos Apps cashback e implantam uma ideia na sua cabeça. Você só consegue falar com o suporte no período de teste, depois nunca mais. Minha conta de pagamento foi suspensa pq não fui advertida das políticas necessárias no momento da configuração. Recebi o aviso de suspensão domingo, dia 08.11, segunda de madrugada as políticas estavam lá, em linguagem jurídica técnica, hoje é dia 14, sábado, o prazo seria 4 dias, a desculpa é a Pandemia, tenha dó, é trabalho típicco de homeoffice antes da pandemia. Que engraçado né, logo quando minha loja ficou pronta e tenho tráfego, e as lojas do insta e face dependem do sistema de pagamento wix. Acabei de lançar uma campanha em todas as redes sociais oferecendo produtos digitais gratuitamente, e é claro que ñ há reposta nem ninguém para dar suporte. Não vou passar vergonha, vou deixar o print para os membros. Eu sou consumidora, hipervulnerável e hipossuficiente. Provem o contrário!

Come one. Look at the comments. We need to be able to share files with specific members. I want to, for example, be able to send them copies of documents.

I hoped I could assign different folders to different members (groups) so that not every member of my site can see eeeeverything... That is a pretty big fail from my sight of view.

not working application
unable to delete files. After uninstalling the application, installation fails again. Need a different solution. It may be some temporary difficulties, but we can’t explain it to the users.

a dumping place that all users have access to one another's files!
I have been wrestling with Wix File Share for a few hours to find a permission set up that allows a member to share files just with the site admin and not other members and could not find any settings for it. If my understanding is correct, the wix File Share is just a dumping place for all usesrs to share files amoung themselves with some very basic permission setups (which in my opinion are not very meaningful). basically if as a member you upload a file, that file will become visible to all other members with no privacy!!!!

most of the time the ADD File button is missing
Frustrating trying to find the add file button. It should be at tge top right a simple +File button, but 9 days out of 10 the button to add files is completely missing. Ive tried different browsers, giving different permissions, but nothing seems to allow this important button to stay in place! Where does it go?!!!

Funcionalidades muy limitadas
Tiene un enfoque de funcionamiento muy comunitario, lo que en mi caso no me sirve, ya que necesito subir facturas e informes que mis clientes puedan ver y descargar individualmente, no me interesa que suban sus archivos ni que varios tengan acceso a toda la información, me interesa que cada cliente tenga acceso a SUS informes, a SUS facturas, desde SU perfil y que no pueda ver la información de nadie más. Para esta funcionalidad es una aplicación completamente inútil.

@robertmgoodwin13 try putting a "0" before the 1. REVIEW: this app is okay but there is still quite a few limitation in regards to permission access that I would like to be more extensives to allow for specific users to view certain files that I upload for their access only.

wow I was pretty excited about this app until I realized I could set permissions and privacy. I agree with this review so hopefully they will take those requests more seriously... You have a super small amount of characters for files' titles (46 characters). You can't set privacy and permission levels. For example, you can't enable/disable files download. You can't add any further file info, but a tiny title (there is no description or other info options. This would be bomb if it had these features. How did you think to do file share without protection or privacy? Anyone can delete anything.

Очень сырое приложение
Загруженные файлы не попадают в папку "Загрузки посетителей". Постоянно слетают настройки языка приложения. Загружаемые посетителями файлы не тегируются автоматически. Постоянно меняется размер окна приложения, становится узким.
