Blocked IP's still getting through. Response time has been slow or when told they would get back to me through e-mail they never did. I purchased this app based on ratings but my experience has not been what I expected it to be. I feel like it has been a waste of money..

In most cases, when blocked IPs still get through, it's related to visitors using VPNs, proxies, or mobile carrier networks that mask or rotate their real IP address, rather than an issue with the blocking itself. Terrible!!
App doesn't work, bots still crawling my site, after setting up with their settings. Contacted them asking to cancel and refund, have been ignored. Will be taking this further.

Blocky blocks by IP and country, and most bot crawlers are built to rotate through IPs and mask their origin specifically to get around this kind of blocking, so some crawler traffic getting through isn't uncommon even with settings configured correctly. Perfect and affordable
We needed this to prevent pricing of items being seen in territories that we did not sell into directly, but via distributors (pricing did not take into account import taxes etc, so we different). App worked extremely well. easy to set up, worked straight away and was affordable, too. Perfect. Support was exceptional, too.

Added App to site yesterday. Can't open App from Manage App page and blocked countries are still getting through.

Occasionally right after installing an app, the Manage Apps page needs a refresh or a moment to sync before it loads correctly, this is usually resolved by refreshing the page or logging out and back into your Wix dashboard. As for blocked countries still getting through, in most cases that's related to visitors using VPNs or proxies that mask their real location, rather than an issue with the blocking itself. ブロック機能が助かります。
長い間待っていた、IPアドレスをブロックする機能がようやく出来て嬉しいです。ただ、国のブロックはすぐ出来るようなのですが、個人のIPアドレスの場合、長いときで２～３分、最近では１分半ほどブロックするまで時間がかかるようで、その間にストーカーは、ホームぺージに５つぐらいの足跡を付けて来て、それを一日に何度も行ってくるので、完全にはブロックできていないようです。今後に期待しています。読んで下さりありがとうございます。

Great Way to Prevent Spammers, Hackers, & Spies

Don't waste your time
I had the so called IT Engineer tell me they were going to cancel my premium subscription since I told them they failed at customer service and been telling me the same lies about when someone visits from a blocked country its not really getting access to my site even though I would get realtime six alerts about visitor traffic. I felt as though this was a big gimmick.

Blocking a country prevents visitors from that location from accessing your site, but the visit attempt itself can still register in real time traffic and analytics tools, since those track incoming requests separately from whether access was actually granted. So seeing alerts about visitor traffic from a blocked country doesn't necessarily mean the block failed, it may just mean the attempt was logged. As for the interaction with our support team, that's not the experience we want anyone to have and we'd like to look into it. Does not block, just redirects ...
App does not block the foreign visitors comma it only redirects them to my 404 page so i'm still inundated with foreign visitor alerts

Hello, Redirecting blocked visitors to a 404 page is actually how blocking works, when a visitor from a blocked country tries to access your site, they're redirected instead of being shown the actual page content, so they're not gaining real access. The visitor alerts you're still seeing are just those attempts being logged, not indication that the block failed. Only Redirects Traffic does not Block
This app does not "Block" traffic it only redirects to a page (404 or a custom page) The Free version does not block Russia or China, Paid version only. (I signed up for the trial) I would have been happy if it truly blocked traffic and not redirected. This is probably a great app for those that can use the redirect, since that function works flawlessly. I wish the best to the dev team and any users who choose to use it.

As for the countries you've mentioned, those are among the countries that require significant backend resources on our end to identify and block, so they're reserved for the paid plan.
