My rating doesnt show up on my website, just blank stars

Royal pain

Trying to get this onto my WIX website. I think the problem is more WIX than Trustpilot. Someone texted me that she had put in a review a few hours ago. Where is it???? Also, difficult to get the Trustpilot to verify my website. This is a royal pain.

Unable to use

Used this app/widget and everything was great until we received notification from TrustPilot to remove the widget as it violates their branding and usage guidelines. In order to use their widget they say you have to go direct through TrustPilot and upgrade at a cost of £99 a month.

Doesn't seem to be working

The dashboard indicates that emails are being delivered, but testing shows they are not sent. They are not found in spam or junk folders; they simply are not being sent.

Good but not recommended for startups

No doubt trustpilot is good, but not recommended for startups. Reviews are more based on emotions and a happy customer may compliment you on social media more along with photos/videos and not necessarity on Trustpilot. But a dissatisfied customer (even 1 out of 100) may post on Trustpilot. For example, once the order is handed over to courier and something major happens and order is delayed, the seller is actually helpless. So RISKY for startups.

Misleading Integration – Sends Review Requests to Non-Customers

I used to love Trustpilot, but the Wix app integration has become a serious problem. It automatically sends review requests to anyone who subscribes to my mailing list or creates a member account. Even if they’ve never purchased anything or received a service. This wasn’t the case before. Review emails used to go out only after real service interactions, which made sense. Now it’s spammy and unprofessional, and there's no clear way to fix it through the app settings. Support sent me irrelevant instructions meant for manual triggers, not app-based automation. If you're a service provider using Wix and want to maintain control over when review invitations are sent, I suggest holding off on this integration until it’s fixed.

No useful free widgets

The free widget is just a link to the Trustpilot business and doesnt illustrate our reviews. Honestly this is parasitic, we put in all the hard effort to provide quality products and service to our customers then Trustpilot want to own our customers reviews of our products and charge us £250pm for using them. How is this fair?

Bad dependencies

The app requires others apps that add features I don't want. I know Trustpilot has to dance to Wix tune. They are not the issue Wix is. But unfortunately Trustpilot takes the hit for the dependency requirement.

So hard for no reason

Honestly one of the worst apps. Nothing works well, its not seamless. Its overcomplicated for no reason. Theyve added so many mindless features to the point that they cannot give a seamless experience.

Not efficient free widgets. Expensive and dissapointing.

It's super disappointing that the only free widget is a mini leave us a review and do not show your reviews... I already pay quite a lot for Wix and my domain and now you need to pay extra for Trustpilot to show your reviews. Super disappointing not using this anymore...
