Potential to be great
Needs pricing plan support, to be able to check in members and see if subscriptions are active. This would work great on our self check-in kiosk if it had this ability.

The app is not stable enough. It is a hit or miss when it works. I am unable to demo what I need in order to get everyone on board. I just cross my fingers for it to work when I need it to. More unneccessary Changes
EDIT: There was a technical issue for a day or something. The related issue has been resolved. Unable to delete my review. Review: The check-in was just removed from the bookings app. That is where I (the owner and staff) were able to check-in our clients. That is the same place we are able to see if the client has paid and how they paid (with a pricing plan or credit card etc). But no- the powers that be, want another reason for a data grab. To force the clients to check themselves in. There was no announcements either. After talking with customer service they said to add this app and then the back-office could check-in clients- but that is not the case. This app has NOT resolved the missing button for staff to check-in our booking clients.

Please add optional fields. We have a horse riding club. It would be great if people could complete the forms with their info and check in.

Is there anyway to remove the check-in time limit?
I think this would be incredibly useful to plan my sessions, if the the checkin time limit was removed ( it only lets you checkin 200 min before). It would be amazing if people could checkin whenever they want so I know how many people are coming ahead of time and can plan accordingly. Right now it is not very helpful

Waiting for pricing plans support
Like many people on the comments here, I am really waiting for this to suppport pricing plans. Many businesses operate on memberships. i need to see Name Membership Type (pricing plan name) Status (active or whatever) and have the ability to check them in and log that check in time Once this has pricing plans support, this will be a straight 6 stars!

If I could scan to see clients subscription/ price plan.
Should allow for checking client subscriptions and price plans easily. If I could scan to view a client’s subscription or price plan status to see if it's active, that would make it much more efficient.

Would like to see History
Check In App should have options for class/program/plan check ins, not just for Events. This will be a great option for the Kiosk because this would allow check ins to be centralized. History of these classes and courses would be useful

It does let you check in the client, but it does not let you check them out which is important for our daycare business.

This app could be more complete
It would be interesting to be able to configure "dynamic fields", as happens in email automations. For example, when checking in, being able to see "number of participants", "remaining amount", etc.

Needs work specially for studio
Would like to see plans and pricing integrated in this. As well as give gym members the ability to scan in without booking a class first. Also it would include members with one or a limited amount of class passes.

Not for gym.
We need it for our clients to check-in with at our front desk in our gym, so we can see if they already have a membership or have paid for a session. I write this so you can improve it.

Not for my gym
This app does not support a check in for an open gym that does not offer classes. We just want members to check in, they come at different times.

Its ok but needs more
The App for check in people is good, however with my setup I have some people who have pre-paid and others who have not. The app to check in does not show who has paid or not. So I end up with 2 lists, my check in app and then a list of people who have pre-paid. It would be good if the check in app displayed if someone has already paid or not.

Unfortunately the app is unable to handle the amount of check-ins flowing through our business and many bugs to be fixed before being deemed usable. If a client books a class too close to the start time of said class, their name/service booked won't appear available for check-in. Therefore, it does not reflect clients in real-time, it does not update in real time. Some clients will check-in on the app but on our backend of wix the check-in won't reflect. This at times also causes these clients to become un-checkable. The booking calendar won't allow us to update their status at all. Good idea but ways to go Wix.

Potential!
I really really love the app and the idea of it - I couldn't figure out a good way for my teachers to take attendance so this was a game changer. BUT the problem that I have is my dance classes are set up as courses and it saves the attendance from the previous session so when I open the page it autosaves whatever they did last time and there's no easy way to refresh the page besides unclicking every student before they come to check themselves in. I tried to look if there was a setting to resolve it but I couldn't find one. If I can figure that out though, I would give it 5 stars!

Client check-in (show participants)
The Wix Booking widget allows for someone to purchase a Service for more than one participant! It would be amazing if the Check-in Widget could also show the number of participants in the booking i.e. Dave C. (+2).

Hi there, The app is intended for businesses that have a front desk/screen to allow the clients to check in for their existing booking (appointment, class, or course session), its not for booking the session itself. Is ok
It would be good if you can display the full name of the client including the wix member profile in the calendar. It would also be great if you can hide the service so that only the client can be published in the calendar with its member profile.

great idea but slow and clunky
i've now got an ipad set up in the gym to allow members to self check in, works really well but slow and can cause a queue at the check in. if it was quicker it would be perfect

Useless
As with most things on here, this should not be an app, just a feature available with bookings. If you install this and try and use it, it will just take you to a page asking for a password. What password? For where? For whom? Business owner? Client? Who knows. Awful.

Great app but it could be improved for a better or even the best experience!
Good for offline premise (card reader), but it can be better for online services or even freelance services(eg. online tutor classes, seminars, workshops, appointment service provided by freelancer like tour guide, food hunt, etc.) as everything are digitalized & mankind is always on mobile on the go. 1. There should be something like a verification/identification on the person who scans the QR Code. Eg. When a guest scans a QR code as directed by a staff, he might need to key in a booking-specific-password, which was sent to him during his booking (only he knows) & then check-in for that particular session to prevent mischeck on other guest's appointments & any unauthorized check-in by staff (intentionally) or anyone. 2. A check-out feature after completing a service (scan after check-in=check out) can be included too to make sure that the service provided by the staff/freelancer is on-time, satisfactory & the guest left safely & for us owner to know that the booking is completed.

Great add on to Wix bookings
Started using the app a little under a year ago and it's a game changer. My clients love that they can keep a log of who's attended without any additional work at there end. The card reader update is fantastic! Hopefully a step closer to allowing members to book in on arrival also? We would love our members to be able to check themselves in on site without being pre-booked.

It's need to be improved
The app need to identify the user log in and only let the corresponding user do it checkin. I realized that the checkin list apear to all participants and anyone can clic on checkin of one another. It's complicated once you have a client that tap on wrong checkin and mark as checked other client. The Apps idea is amazing but need to be improve as fast as possible.

We recently released an update to the app that allows participants to check-in themselves using identification card/chip/etc. This solution requires the business to have a card reader on premises. To use this feature, please update the app.

will not work for courses
This app will not work with Wix booings courses option. Wasted a lot of time thinking that my session setup was the problem. It was not my setup but instead, The Client check-in app wil not work if you set up your sessions as recurring courses....thats unfortunate.

Awesome
Hey this is good. I was really looking for this feature for over a year now. Please do check though the header on the mobile are little messed up plus i see all the participants in the class and I can check in for them. That's not good.
